John and I are holding our Necronomicon Files book signing in the Nashville bookstore Needful Things.
Tucked in a side-street a few blocks from Nashville's artsy and academic district, Needful Things is a full-service metaphysical bookstore and healing center. Visitors can request tarot and astrology readings, receive Reiki healing and attunements, attend seminars, and enjoy massages, including reflexology. The store carries something for everyone: statuary, incense, candles, magical supplies, books, statues, and stained glass. It features a rare assortment of artifacts imported from South Africa, as well as Egyptian and prehistoric statuary.

Most remarkable of all is the staff at Needful Things: Tommy Muller, one of the few caucasians initiated as a Zulu Sangoma (witch doctor); his fiancee Michelle, an accomplished Reiki master, aromatherapist, and reflexologist; and B.C. Gill (not shown), an aromatherapist and Reiki master. Tommy, who was born in the Orange Free State in South Africa, has been trained in Zulu shamanism since the age of five. He is now active in the U.S. Pagan community and is probably the best psychic and tarot card reader with whom John has worked.
